- I want to find a particular product in a HomeSense store. Can you track it down for me?
Thousands of new items arrive in-store every week. Not only does this mean more choice for you, it also means that no two stores offer the same merchandise at the same time. For this reason, we are unable to provide a tracking service. But we can promise you one thing - great savings on an incredible assortment of home décor every time you visit.

- How can you offer such great savings on brand name and designer décor from around the world?

And that means we can deliver savings of up to 60% off department and specialty stores to our customers, every single day.
- What's the difference between HomeSense and a department or specialty store?
HomeSense sells the same merchandise as a department or specialty store, for up to 60% less every day. Also, department stores only have a few décor looks, with the same merchandise for an entire season. On the other hand, HomeSense buying staff is constantly in the marketplace looking for fresh new products to bring in. You never know what treasures you'll find, but it will always be exciting.
- What's the difference between HomeSense and a discount store?
Quality and value are the biggest differences. An item selling at a discount store for $29.99 was made to sell for that price. A brand name or designer product selling for $29.99 at HomeSense was made to sell for 20-60% more.
- Does HomeSense offer a lay-away program?
With so much exciting new merchandise coming into our stores every week, our stock has to move fast. In order to give you the very best prices, we do not put items on lay-away. So when you see a great deal, scoop it up because at our prices, it won't last long!
- Can I order on-line?
Thousands of new items are delivered to our doors each week and because our stock is always changing, we don't offer on-line shopping. Besides, it's more fun to come into our stores!
- How do I find out if HomeSense has a job that would suit me?

- I would like to request a donation/sponsorship from HomeSense. What should I do?
The mission of the HomeSense Donation and Sponsorship Program is to support organizations that are non-profit, operate in communities in which HomeSense has a presence and raise funds for programs that provide health and/or social services designed to have a positive impact on the lives of women and children. If this sounds like your organization, please provide a typewritten request detailing your program, on your organizations letterhead and submit it at least 6 weeks prior to our event deadline. Be sure to include a contact name, phone number and email address, as well as charitable number if you have one, and a valid mailing address (ie. not a Post Office box)Fax a request for:
- a monetary donation to the attention of Corporate Communications at 905-405-7581.
- a donation of a HomeSense gift certificate to the attention of Customer Service at 905-405-2384.
- a request for sponsorship to the attention of Marketing at 905-405-7579 or mail your sponsorship package to:

- Do you offer gift receipts?
Yes, we are pleased to offer gift receipts for your shopping convenience. Please keep in mind, items returned with gift receipts may be exchanged or receive store credit only. Other restrictions apply.
- Where can I purchase a HomeSense gift card?
You can buy gift cards online or at any one of our HomeSense locations. And if you are a business, we also have corporate gift cards for use in your incentive programs. Whether you want to build sales, or just say "thank you" to your employees, distributors or valued customers, a HomeSense gift card will fit your budget and your program. - I am a student working on a project. How do I find out more about HomeSense?
You'll find everything you need to know about HomeSense on this site and by accessing our TJX parent company website. Unfortunately, we are unable to answer individual inquiries.
- I live in the City of Toronto. Why do plastic bags now cost 5¢ each?
The City of Toronto has passed a bylaw which requires all retailers to charge 5¢ for plastic bags. HomeSense encourages you to use reusable bags instead, to help reduce the need for plastic bags. All plastic bag net proceeds will go towards environmentally responsible initiatives to make our stores greener.
